TheESE lightning protection system is in full compliance with French lightningprotection standard NFC 17-102 & Spanish norm UNE-21186.

Theair terminal is Early Streamer Emission (E.S.E.) type which is equipped with anupper series of spark-generating electrodes. The triggering device of theE.S.E. air terminal is sealed in a stainless-steel housing fixed at thecenter of its central rod.

Theair terminal shall be fixed at the top of a GI elevation pole with base so asbe at least 2 meters above the structure to be protected. Its height above rooflevel would be dependent on the level of protection and the protection radiirequired.

Theair terminal should be working on the principle of early streamer emissionusing non-radio active technology, needing noexternal power source.

Theair terminal should be capable of tracking the lightning stroke 60 / 40 / 25micro seconds earlier as compare to passive lightning rod.

Theair terminal is made of stainless steel and it has qualified diameter to resisthigh values of lightning currents

Cosmos ESE lightning conductor consists of3parts: Air Terminal, Ion Generator & Adaptor to connect with supportingpipe/pole. Ion generator is located in a special section which is of stainlessbody inside and covered with special resin to shield from external effect. Asthe atmospheric electric field increases during lightning storm, generatorbecomes active and ionizes surrounding air.

Theair terminal shall have testing facility to test for its functionality

Thevendor shall provide authorized distributorship letter along with the tenderdocuments

Thevendor shall provide METU test certificate of lightning terminal in accordancewith the test procedure of NFC 17102 appendix C 2011Version.

CPRI test certificate for 5 positive and 5negative pulses of 70kA impulse current shall be provided byvendor

Theterminal shall have conformity certificate of valid  ISO and IP testing

Theterminal shall have Certificate or Origin as a proof of originality of the equipment

TheOEM country origin of patent certificate shall be submitted by vendor alongwith 30yearsOEM warranty.
